Fellows:
I'm looking to repower my 18 ft Manatee. It had a 115 Merc (no has a blown PH)The boat moved along very well with 115HP. Due to my budget(my wife) I can't afford a 4 stroke 115. However a 90 4 stroke is a may be in my reach. I'm concerned with going down to a 90hp 4 strke. It looks like I can a get a 125 Merc elpto that's in my $ range.

What's elpto? Is this Carb or direct fuel injection. Merc's web site calls it looped charged. HUH???

Does anyone have any words on the merc elpto?
Thanks Stoked

Ahoy, Stoked not. Just what is your budget? I have been offered a deal on a pair of 2000 Yammy F115s but only need one. Maybe we can combine our budgets and both get what we want.

Email me at jbshideout@aol.com.

Red sky at night. . .
JB :)
