Trim motor leaking fluid?

After hitting a stump, my T&T has been acting up and is now leaking fluid around the trim motor. It will only rise about halfway and will not come down. I can manually release it down and it will work again. Until I lift it to high again.<br /><br />The Leak --- Would the force of the motor coming down after hitting the stump blow the o-ring around the trim motor?<br /><br />Also, while replacing a burnt trim motor a couple of weeks ago I noticed the hydraulic fluid was a gray color. Is that referred to as "Milky" (water)?<br /><br />Thanks in advance for you time!!!

Problem solved, just needed fluid… Now I just need to pull the trim motor off and see why it is leaking. May have been the way I reseated it after I replaced.<br /><br />There is no drain on a T&T pump is there? I want to replace the fluid but the only way I know would be to take it off and turn it over... Does that sound correct?<br /><br />thanks again
