I have a 1995 Mercury 2.0L Carbuerated 150hp motor. The oil warning buzzer continues to sound even though the reservoir on the motor is filling, and the motor is receiving oil. How do I determine which component is malfunctioning. I.E. the reservoir float or the flow sensor?

Try disconnecting the wires to your oil tank. If the alarm stops sounding it is your problem.
