my little kicker will start up on the first pull, but i have to keep pulling the choke to keep it alive...I also see white smoke when it's ideling. Anyone got an idea to what the problem is?
Ok, a couple of things. Sounds like a fuel restriction/delivery problem. If this motor has the integral tank, have you checked to see that the fuel filter isn't clogged? Disconnect fuel line at carb and check for gravity flow of fuel. Is the tank vented? Possibly a dirty carb, remove and clean with carb cleaner, blow out all passages with compressed air.Install carb rebuild kit.
