91 Mariner 9.9 quits running

Can anyone tell me what might be happening to my engine when it's running fine and then cuts out or bogs down. The only way to keep it going is to pump the gas bulb.

Classic example of failed fuel pump or fuel line sucking air.Replace the fuel line and if problem remains do carb/fuelpump overhaul.
