Squeeze the bulb when it starts to decelerate to rule out the fuel pump, tank, and hoses.
Look for any fuel leaks on same and on/around carburators.

Thanks Walker. how hard should the bulb be if the fuel pump is working properly? will try a.s.a.p. and hope to return the favor right back to ya one day . regards, H. oh yeah, the only thing I did differently from last year is when I changed the fuel filter it wasn't exactly the same one but fit and screwed in tight hopefully that isn't a problem.

The bulb should pump up solid before you start the engine. Once the engine is running the bulb will get soft but shouldn't collapse. With the engine running the bulb is nothing more that a part of a siphon hose.
If your fuel pump is bad or if you are getting air into the fuel line then pumping the bulb when the engine starts to decelerate should cause the rpms to pick back up.

its a long story, but check your breather hole in the oil tank as you might be running the engine without oil in the fuel. Happened to me.
