help i have a 225 merc pro max with sportmaster gearcase and cant keep the paint on the unit normally it looks like the paint flakes off today it looks like it got hot please help
A gearcase submerged in water would have to get awfully hot to cook paint off of the exterior... I don't think that's your problem. Why do you think it overheated? What looks different?Walt
sorry it is a bobs lower unit at first the paint would be just coming off in flakes today it looked blistered not peeling off but ripply melted looking where can i get a low water pickup mercury unit at need one bad and cheap also would like to have a set of 300 heads any help would be greatly appreciated
