Trim tabs an option?

I have a 16 foot Doral tri hull bow rider with a 65 Johnson power tnt.
It has always been prone to porpoiseing and I am forever trimming up/down or throttling back to stop it.
I put a 2.5 merc on the back as a kicker and it is worse than ever (30lbs 8" off the rear of the transom), I pretty much have to leave the trim down all the time or I feel like flipper.
I can't really shift much weight to the bow without running cables to the front for the battery or finding a small narrow fuel tank to go under a bow seat.
More passengers and it seems to get worse not better.
Are small trim tabs the answer?
How small?
Thanks
Matt

Yes, tabs are an answer if the weight thing is out of the question. Go with manufacturer recommendations on sizing and I think the SamrtTabs would be good for you. ;)
