Center Console livewell broken/ 1997 Cajun 2100 fishmaster
I have a cajun 2100 center console that the livewell has come separated. It seems the only way to repair this the right way is to turn the console over and re-glass it back to the console. Would this be very hard to do and is their an easier way. Seems all the controls/wires would have to be unconnected? If this is so I was thinking of building a floor for the live well to rest on in the future that would fit just above the gastank and below the livewell. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks, Scotty

hey how ya doing, boy i dint know how you would fix that. at least not an easy way. i would like to know what caused the break, just the pounding from rough water? i have a 21' cajun cc 97 model. ive been lucky so far and not have had this problem. i did this weekend change the pump for my livewell. good luck.

just the pounding with it being full is the only thing i can think of. If I were you I would see about putting some wood between the bottom of your well and the gas tank to help stabilize it. Scotty

hey i just may try that. this is a tough boat it sure has taken alot. it sure handles the water well, all upand down the coast and out in the gulf, and many of the lakes. good boat. do you have that red lever on the side of the console? what is that for, do you know for sure?
Re: Center Console livewell broken/ 1997 Cajun 2100 fishmaster
yes..it is for your gas reserve tank. lever towards you is main tank away is reserve..want to make sure you running with it towards you in the event you run out you will have 8 gallon reserve left. If you are running in reserve mode..well...when your out your out. :{ Your tank has to lift tubes in it, the gas tank has a tunnel through the middle that the reserve tube picks up from. Scotty

The switch runs to a valve underneath the driver seat. Your main fuel line runs to this switch and becomes two separate lines. One pulls from the main tank and once switched to reserve it pulls from the other tube that runs deeper in the tank to pick up the remaining 8 gallons. I have used my reserve a couple times. Could keep from ruining a day on the water very quickly. Good Luck. Scotty
