1986 150evinrude stalling out wot

1986 evinrude 150 stalling out after about ten minutes of runnung hard at wot, white smoke coming from exhaust, engine warning horn sounding.<br />primerbulb hard, motor has water coming from tube. any suggestions where to start?

I'd say your motor is overheating. Do a compression test to see if you've already caused any damage. If all if weel with that then its time for a waterpump kit and thermostats. The pee tube only indicates that water is being pumped. It in no way proves that an adequate amount of water is being pumped

do you happen to have a water pressure gauge? Or have you felt the temperature of the water being pumped out of your pee hole? It should be warm/hot but not to the excess of burning your hand.
