Tiller for 18 hp electric start Mercury outboard

I have a 18 hp mercury electric start that was on a house boat. Ser. # 6344779. It has the remote controls for it and I want to convert it to a tiller handle. Does anyone have a used tiller handle, brackets, cables or whatever else is needed to convert it to a tiller model? Also, not sure what year it is. I think it is a 90's vintage but not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Looking for used parts to keep conversion costs low if possible.

your too new on yur year......that numbercant be newer than 1986 guessin 82-84
