They show up on Ebay from time to time. You need to know what year covers fit, either Johnson or Evinrude as they were made for many years.<br /> I'm assuming that you have a 15HP but on a lake with a 10HP limit? Another idea would be to get new 9.9 decals and/or re-paint if necessary.

That might be a bit obvious to any "motor size police" but it'd be pretty hard for even an "expert" to determine the difference between a 9.9 vs a 15 if the cover looks like an original 9.9.

A little trick on removing decals. Use a hair dryer to soften up the sticker/glue.
