Well, that's actually the reason I want to find an internet site selling new ones. I want to check prices to see if there is anything to save and to know how much to bid. I just can't find any sites with merc. controls listed. RegardsRegardsMikeMike

Mike, from what I can find out, Mercury is pretty strict about selling to other companies, and even West Marine has a tough time carrying genuine Mercury parts. Mercury wants you to buy Mercury parts through a Mercury dealer. And when you live over an hour's drive from one (like I do), it makes it tough to get parts sometimes. You can go to the mercurymarine.com web site, and look up a part number on their Parts Express, to see what the part would cost you at a dealer. That might help you on the e-bay comparisons.

Norman, the plug doesn't fit. I did find another one though.I have looked at Morse controls, but haven't found any with key and connection to the tack like the mercury has. I would prefer that.RegardsMichael
