I just finished putting new seals in my lower unit and I am having a problem. It seems like the 4 bolts that connect the propshaft bearing carrier to the retaining plate are too short. I realize this probably means something didn't go together right but I can't figure it out. The 2 snap rings are seated in their grooves, and I can easily start a piece of all thread in the holes so the holes are lined up the bolts just aren't long enough. Is anybody familiar with this problem and have any suggestions?<br /><br />Thanks in advance.
