Not Shifting??

I was givin a pontoon last summer and it has a early 80's 50 Horse Johnson on it with electronic shift the problem is I think that the cellinoid is stuck in gear I can't get it to turn over or get it out of gear, any thoughts??

welcome to i boats. hit the red search button, at the top of this page. enter electric shift for subject, then submit, there are lost of post on this subject. it also helps a lot if you post your model #. read the posts and we'll be glad to help all we can.

Early 80's motors were not electric shift. Post the model number of your motor here.
