Those engines are V-4 s.As far as the steering pull goes,about the only thing you could do would be to adjust each LU trim tab in the direction of pull and water test.Otherwise,one counter rotating engine would have been the ideal setup.As to the difficulty in planing issue,I'd need more input as to the wide open throttle capability of the engines as propped,for a starter.
