I dunno if model 35516 was a long or short shaft though. 1959 35HP is all I got. Someone here'll know. You've got time to email the guy and have him measure it and count the splines. You need one exactly 5" shorter than the long shaft drive you took out. This one is the good strong straight shaft - better than the weaker shouldered ones. Good luck.
