I'm considering buying a 26' 2001 seaswirl fitted twin Evinrude Ficht 150's. I've read many of the reports so far and they seem to focus on the Lower unit problem only. Does anyone have any other experiences with these engines? Good or Bad?
IF they have been completely updated to BRP specs they are probably okay, ecf. <br /><br />If not, forget it. They (and the 175s) were the worst engines ever made by OMC.
