I am thinking about purchasing a 1979 Johnson 35 hp, electric start,..however..the man I want to buy it off of says it runs great but.. "THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE LEVER WHERE THE SHIFT CONTROL CABLE MOUNTS HAS BROKEN OFF, MOTOR STILL CAN BE SHIFTED BY USING PLIERS"....Is this part repairable? Any Ideas on how much parts may cost??
