Hello again,

I just wanted to let you guys know I receieved my Tachometer and Tach harness today. Really nice units. I paid $26.55 including shipping for the Tach from Ebay and $19.00 for the OMC Johnson/Evinrude tach Harness including shipping from Ebay. I went out and temporarilly inssatlled it. I plugged in the tach harness into the remote control and hooked up the Grey to send, the black to ground, and the purple to ignition. I turned the key on and the tach zeroed out from approximately 500 rpms from where the needle was sitting at. I also hooked up the lights and the bulb works also. I can't wait to install her and crank my motor up and see the needle move. I also set the tach to 6 pulshes.

I also wanted to know if a holesaw will work when I cut the hole out to install the tach into my dash it is fiberglass. What do you all think about that ideal?

A 3 3/8" hole saw is needed.
