Bought boat, motor not running, got manual and parts manual.<br /><br />No spark, replaced power pack, got spark, still runs rough if at all. <br /><br />needs to be choked to fire-up. Runs 10-20 sec then dies, also back fires.<br /><br />timing signal is taken off stator, no points<br /><br />What are the next logical steps I could do to impove the situation?<br /><br />I really don't want to tear into this thing!
