I don't think the Ficht V4's were a problem.BUT I suggest you read round here in general.It doesn't take long to see TOO many boats from hell,no matter how well others run.Most not even running when bought.<br /><br />You want a good shake down cruise,with a seasoned boater (if you are not)No hard start,no hard restart after running.No bogging,no easing the throttle to get up to speed.No skip,no alarms,etc.<br /><br />Next you want a good marine tech (if you are not) <br />he can check spark,compression and fuel condition. He cn log onto BRP and check the history of the engine,and he can hook up to the engine and read out the codes,updates,hours
