I have 1959 35 H.P. Johnson and am needing a head gasket. I looked on the parts list here at iboats and it only list a gasket for the 35 for the years 1957-1958. I looked at the picture and it looks the same so I was wondering if it is a typo?

Re: Head gasket info

No, unfortunately that ones different. It's for the 35hp engines without thermostats.
There isn't an aftermarket one, so Iboats doesn't sell it. The P/N is 305206 for '58 and '59 35hp engines (super quiets) and is listed as NLA. I do see it though at laingsoutboards.com . Other places that deal in NLA parts like vintageoutboard.com or Stone & Sons marine might be able to help too.
Don't forget to check the head for flatness and surface if necessary.
