I have a 83 E140TRLCTE 140HP V4 and was wondering if the cylinder have sleeves, the reason is when I put the boat to bed for the winter the compression on #1 was 0, its been acting up not idleing stalling but ran great once on plain and WOT.. it has a scar on the cylinder wall above the piston line, maybe a broken ring?? any hoot if they do have sleeves maybe I can overhaul her if not I guess we'll bore her or even replace the block any suggestions...

Sure, it can be resleeved but its rather expensive. Boring would always be the first choice. You can get oversize pistons in .020, .030, .044 and .064.

I just got one cylinder re-sleeved for $180 last summer.
