Johnson/Suzuki 9.9 4stroke, anything I should know?

I believe my Johnson 9.9 4stroke was made by Suzuki before Johnsons were made by Bombradier even though it has an OMC tag on it. Anybody know of anything I should be worried about the manufacturer of this motor?

Model number?<br /><br />The 9.9s and 15s of the 90s were made by OMC.<br /><br />Had a 9.9 Johnny. Good engine, if a bit heavy for a 9.9.

The last one of these I looked at had a ruined crankshaft, because the flywheel nut was loose. When the flywheel spun the key out, ruined the crank.
