Color codes and Descriptions

I have a factory manual and a couple other types like Clymer, etc., for my Johnson/ Evinrude motors(85'120hp & 93'200hp) which have good wiring diagrams including the wire colors... HOWEVER, in none of my manuals does it tell me, or can I find, the description of what each colored wire is or what it stands for. Can anyone tell me where to find this information.<br /><br /> I'd really appreciate the help folks... Thanks!<br /><br /> ~Ted :confused: ;)

Thanks for the info ezeke, appreciated it. That's what I'm looking for. Anybody else got some similar info or links? Thanks... just trying to find all the descriptions if possible.
