MCM Don't get me wrong here but why do you recommend 40 to 1 on a 1968 engine that the designers for that engine recommends 50:1.

Now I ain't trying to get into no **** fight here I am curious that is all.

I'm just going by the recommendation in the FAQ post on fuel/oil mix, better to err on the side of to rich as to lean. I'm far from an expert and always open to another opnion such as yours :)

I won't argue that, but then I didn't write the post in the FAQ. :D

Thank y'all. I'm going to write it on the side of the engine in small letters with a permanent marker this time!
