i have a 1977 70 hp evinrude#70773 and i have mid range power loss my local dealer found a service bulliton back when engine was made and it said to pull caps on the top of carbs and drill the two outter holes out to .046 whic i did its a little better but i still need to hit the chock when i go from idle to full throttle or it dies out please help me thank you
Float levels correct and by the book? Carbs clean? Compression good? Correctly jetted? Sometimes going to a fatter mid-range or high speed jet can help a mid-range bog...- Scott
