1955 15hp evinrude aquasonic mix screw adjustment and fuel ratio??

I recently got a 1955 15hp aquasonic and don't know the fuel mix ratio and would like the mixture screw settings and how to adjust them. any help would be appreciated. thank you.

Howdy Bigred.

Welcome to iboats.

Your engine uses a 24:1 mix. 1 qt. TC-W3 outboard oil to 6 gallons of 87 octane rregular.

From gently seated back each jet out 1.5 turns to start. Then, under load and in the water fine tune each to get a smooth idle and a "clean" top end with out burbling.
