I filled up boat with fuel and noticed that fuel guage needle was beyond full.I tapped guage with my finger and it went back to normal position.I cruised around for about an hour and a half with two kids and four adults. The fuel guage never moved off full.I figure I should have used about a quarter of a tank, maybe.Do you think it's the guage or the sending unit?

Kevin

My guess would be the guage since the needle moved when you tapped it. You can test it by removing the sender and raising the float by hand while observing the guage.
