what will clean hypalon?
Have big red stain, looks like it's the dye from a red throwable cushion that might have been laying there over the winter.
Have tried some vinyl cleaners, not the 3m vinyl cleaner however, and haven't had any luck. The hypalon is pretty dirty all above the waterline as well. Is it possible to get it back to like new clean?
Boat is a 10' Avon (west marine), gray.

Try a test spot with some bleach on a paper towel and hold it on the spot for a minute and see if it changes the color of the spot and give it a good rinse with warm water when done. Some types of mold growth can be in different colors and the bleach will tell you right away if it is a dirty stain or a type of mold.A good cleaner for a very dirty boat is soft scrub, the type that contains bleach will work better. Also use a green scrub pad.It is important that you give it a trorough rinse with water when you are done and then a coating of formula 33.It is recommended by Zodiac corp. to maintain the surface. It goes on like armorall but is nothing like it as far as what it does.Let us know how you make out.Charlie
