Disappointing. Bought new 2004 Johnson 6hp 4 stroke and put in water last Sat to start break in. The next day after only an hour of running it would not start and leaked gas as fast as I pulled the start cable. As it happens the fuel inlet and outlet on on the end of the fuel pump and about 3/8" from the case latch. Either the latch, or the aggressive installer of plastic ties cracked the outlet hose bib and caused the dumping of gas. This part is not in any parts CD the local (Mexico)dealer has. It is similar to a 2000 5hp 2 stroke fuel pump diagrahm. Both bibs on on the same side. They are way too close to the latch assy. and the covers are way to flexible to protect the part. anyone else had the experience and where can I get this part. Need it desparately. thanks,
