i am looking at purchasing a used 55hp johnson comercial outboard. it is a 1998 rope start tiller without tilt and trim. what would it take to convert to remote steer and shift/throttle? can a charging system be added without an electric starter? any educated guesses on the cost to convert? any general info on this motor is also appreciated. thank you.
