78 200 h.p. Tilt Trim Seal Kit

I have a 78 Evinrude 200 h.p. that the trim tab seals have gone bad on. This is the second time in the last 2 years. So this time I want to replace all the seals and o-rings in the unit.<br />Does anyone know of a complete kit for this instead of ordering all the seals individually ?

I would think you can order a seal kit. I got one for mine but it was an 89. Not sure how far back they go. Call your local johny rude dealer & check. Good luck & I'm sure some of the experts will help & possibly give a part number for the kit.

I have the orginal shop manual and it only list individual part numbers. The local repair guy says I can get kit for the main ram and kits for the outer trim tab seals. But its one by one for the rest of the unit.<br /><br />Looks like thats the way I've gota go.<br /><br />Thanks

Yes, that is a good engine, a relative of mine had one for years until he sold his boat
