1969 evinrude 18hp repair part

I am repairing my old evinrude 18 fastwin. There is a rubber bulb located between the choke and lean-rich fuel mixture knob. the bulb is connected to two wires inside the housing. The wires are corroded and the part needs to be replaced. What is the part name so I can order?

Thanks, DHP. I have ordered a repair manual, but has not arrived yet. Should I order the stop switch thru Evinrude or is there an aftermarket outlet?

I don't think you'll find it aftermarket,but you probably can order it online.

I usually suggest going to your local dealer,try to help him stay in business.He needs you.And you need him.When he's gone,you won't have anyone to bring your boat to when you can't fix it.
