1979 85hp CDI unit burnt out again

I have an 1979 85HP EVEINRUDE seriel No 85995R> Last week i replased the cdi unit with an new one and it has burnt out all ready, This time i will replase the coils as well incase they are the cause is there any thing else which could cause this?

Are you using OEM parts or aftermarket stuff?
