shift selector switch '70 evinrude needed

I have a 1970 evinrude 60hp that needs a three position switch in the controller that works. The old one was made by Pollak but they don't carry them any longer. <br /><br />EDIT: Please don't solicit on the board. Thanks. :)

Are you talking about the push button switches.<br />Some can be replaced with a 3 postion toggle switch. And the other setup requires a double pole 3 position toggle switch. If neutral requires power to the shift soleinod you need the double pole. If nuetral requires no power to the shift solenoid then a regular three position toggle switch will do the trick. I have used this set-up on a couple of motors.
