Establish your baseline and record everything. Then make one change at a time. <br /><br />Try any and every prop you can get your hands on. Even if you think it wont work. This will let you know how your hull reacts to different prop designs.<br /><br />When testing X dimension always go too far...but slowly. It doesnt matter if you go way up from baseline and then move slowly down or just go slowly up.<br /><br />Record everything including "feel". Watch your water pressure. Verify your instruments and always retest with the same ones. Keep in mind water and weather conditions can have a dramatic effect.<br /><br />Establish early what your testing for (define usage)-- all around efficiency with average load, top speed with tournament load, top speed with very light load, skiing & tubing etc.<br /><br />Most importantly -- keep us informed. We want to learn too.
