OMC Sea Drive 3.0L

I am looking a boat with a OMC SeaDrive 3.0L The model is 30APRDGH with ser# 02554458. What year was it mfg and why can't I find any repair or parts manuals for this unit?

Welcome!!<br /><br />The sales year for that Sea Drive is 1990. While it has a lot of similarities to its outboard cousins there are differences. For manuals look for the Sea Drive specific manuals. They are not part of the outboard manual. <br /><br />What you have is a 3.0 liter, open deck, big bore looper.

If yours is the non-ducted model like mine, all that is needed to convert it to a standard outboard is the steering arm and tilt/trim assembly. I bought a complete 25in mid section with working tilt/trim for $200. Considering I paid $600 for the SeaDrive with a NEW power head, I feel I did ok. Mine is a 1988 model. Yours may also have power steering as does mine.
