50:1 87 octane gas to TC-W3 outboard oil.<br />Worktwin - cool engine, kind of rare.

1967 evinrude paul the guy i got the motor from said it was 24to1 it runs good at half throttle but no top speed would gas and oil cause that thanks perch 9

24:1 wouln't hurt it - it really makes no difference. If it's got no top speed I would first look at whether the carb was adjusted correctly, second have a look at the fuel supply (pump primer bulb while it's running bad and see if it helps/harms), third look to see if you're loosing spark on one cylinder. Pull a lead and see how it runs on one cylinder to find out that.

There were no 1967 15hp models. There were from 1953 to 1956, and then again 1974 to present. What is the model number?
