I just acquired an older Johnson Model FD-15 F Serial Number 2215714. Don't know the age of the motor.<br /><br />Also - motor starts immediately - did all the ususal - new gas, clean filters,..etc. After about 10 minutes, the engine suddently slowed - in fact it almost stopped even though the engine continued to run. Checked for weeds. Also checked prop pin but everything seems to be OK. <br /><br />Cann't seem to get the engine to move the boat. Prop looks like it is spinning. Everything works fine when I take it out of the water and test but as soon as I try to put stress on the engine (such as putting it back on the3 14' boat) the same problem comes back.<br /><br />Any ideas.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Ed
