89 Evinrude. 110 hp. 700 hours. 1/3 trolling, 1/3 high speed.<br />Engine was running well. Stopped motor, would not restart.<br />Turns over but does not appear to have spark. Getting fuel.<br />Where should I start?<br />When should I worry about replacing the impeller?

When did it appear that it had no spark? How did you know it had fuel? How did you perform these test's? Worry about the impellor when you get the engine running again.

Removed plugs, dried, tried starting, removed plugs, wet with fuel.<br />Held plug against head and turned motor over. No spark.

You need a manual, and start at the beginning of , "no spark" test. It would take to long to post the whole test.

Today is July 4th. Yesterday was a Sunday. I have three manuals <br />reserved at the library for Tuesday.<br />I had hoped for some helpful hints so I could hit the ground running Tuesday morning. <br />Thanks for your help. Hope you feel better.
