If this is a new to you motor or if the impeller hasn't been replaced in the last two years ,change it out. It is money well spent.<br />While the motor is running you should be able to put you fingers on top of the block right above the plugs on top without it burning you. You should be able to hold them there for a few seconds without any trouble.
