Depth Finder & fish finder

I have a pontoon boat, with a depth finder on it (factory installed) I would like to add a fish finder to it but the only place to install the transducer would be right next to the transducer for the depth finder. My question is, Will they both work with the transducers right next to each other?

Get rid of the Depth Finder, And mount the Fish Finder Transducer where the Depth Finder was, as the Fish Finder will have a Depth Finder Already Built-In to it! And Yes, they will interfere with each other, being that close!
