I was given a Montgomery Ward old Bass boat with a Seahorse engine Model # 55EL79C, Serial # E5186733. The engine runs fine except it is missing the throttle linkages from the electric choke. I am looking for a parts manual and the year the engine was manufactured.<br />Carl Slye

Welcome Carl!<br /><br />The year is 1979.<br /><br />The parts and service manual can be gotten through Ken Cook Co., the outboardwizard or maine.com. Just do a search for them.<br /><br />The "linkage" from the choke solenoid to the carb was a spring. PN 316075....still available from John/Rude dealers. 'bout $7.
