Default Crestliner Aluminum Fishing Boat ?'s

Today, I obtained an old Crestliner fishing boat that is approx. 14' long, riveted aluminum with a steering wheel/remote controls/running lights. The mfg plate on the transom just lists the serial number (B12597) and max recommended hp (35). It appears to be pretty good quality and is built like a tank (is heavy, also), just needs cleanup/tlc. I hope to mount an old '64 Evinrude Speedtwin 28 hp on it and end up with a decent fishing rig. The Crestliner website is very lacking (can't even find out who to contact for more info). Can anyone provide more information about the model year/capacities/specifications/quality or point me to some website(s)?Thanks!

Brunswick just bought Crestliner. This sounds like a technical question so a call to this phone number should be appropriate.Warranty Repair/Technical Only: 320-616-5629.

Thanks for that link! very helpful. I own a 2003 Crestliner 1754 with a 40hp Yamaha. My biggest beef is the inferior hardware the manuf uses on the interior. All my rivets have popped on my bow , creating cracks on my bow deck from the vibration, and 85% of them poped on my stern deck.

I removed my entire bow and center console and reinstalled using corrsion resistant nuts and bolts.

It is now very secure and I can always get access underneath if necessay.

Its going to be a bigger chore with the stern deck, but this will be my winter project.
