Check the connections for the hoses that attach to the little square fuel pump on the carburetor. Make sure they're tight on both ends. A leak here can cut down on the fuel supply.<br /><br />Also check the fuel bulb. It could be allowing fuel to drain back into the tank.<br /><br />If you need a new fuel pump, it's available as part number 0388684. I don't believe it's rebuildable. About $40 or so.<br /><br />You can test the pump by disconnecting the hose that goes to the engine's crankcase. Squeeze the fuel bulb. If fuel comes out that hose, the pump is bad.
