Is it the carbs. If so what can I do?

I have an OMC 2.7 liter six cylinder that has been sitting for two years.

Fresh gas and oil and it fires right up. When I put it in gear it either dies as I rev up or dies as I rev back down.

Will a decarb with sea foam work or do I need to have the carbs cleaned profesionally?

Thanks for the advice.

A decarb surely won't hurt the engine. However, it will do NOTHING for the carbs.

It's rebuild time for them.
