Tach for evinrude- needle indicator fell out- repairable?

I have this tach for my Evinrude 40<br /><br /> http://www.overtons.com/modperl/overtons/detail/pdetail2.cgi?r=detail_view&item_num=24995 <br /><br />While putting a radio in the dash the shaking of the dashboard by the saw caused the needle to pop off the tach. I tried to get into the tach and can't seem to get it apart. Has anyone done this?? Does the cover screw/pop/snap off? It worked before fine. Good news is I have a stereo and CD player now.

And the really good news is that now you have the opportunity to buy a better tach.<br /><br />Seriously, I'm a bit surprised that that little vibration popped it off. I have to (well, want to) believe that if you contact T-flex they'd help out. <br /><br />One would never last in my boat. We never see calm water! Lol!
