Hi<br />I have an older 15hp outboard engine (Evinrude make, probably around 1980) where the shaft between the engine and the propeller are getting baking hot when running. The tell tale water stream is present and also as strong as ever and the temperature on the water coming out from the tell tale is also OK.<br /><br />Another symptom of the problem is that there is coming white smoke (it could also be steam) out from the exhaust when running the engine at low revs. Anyone that have an idea what the problem could be ??? <br /><br />I appreciate all good answers.
